Could you live your sister or brother now that you are grown up? Here’s a family where the adults are brother and sister, each with a spouse and one child. Four adults, two children under one roof. She has a great list of benefits: financial and emotional. The kids have someone to play with and the adults get to share the maintenance work of life. I love hearing about adult siblings enjoying one another and living together.
The article certainly sparked many reader comments. There are 91 of them ranging from “what a great idea” and “I did this too” to “there’s no way I could do this.” On balance more chiming in that they think it’s a great idea. The comments are are illuminating. I think more people would try this if they had a roadmap for how to go it.
