We want you to be happy with your purchase from Sharing Housing, Inc. This policy explains how returns and refunds work for our books and kits, our downloadable digital resource, and our online classes.
Physical Books and Kits
If you’re not satisfied with a physical book or the bundled kit, you may return it within 30 days of the delivery date for a refund.
- The item must be unused and in its original, undamaged condition.
- Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
- There is no restocking fee.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll process your refund to the original payment method within seven business days.
To start a return, contact us at connect@sharinghousing.com with your order number and we’ll send you return instructions.
If an item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 30 days of delivery and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.
Digital Downloads (The Real Scoop)
Because The Real Scoop—Housemate Stories You Need to Know is a digital download, all sales are final once the file has been downloaded, and we’re unable to offer refunds. If you experience a technical problem accessing or downloading your purchase, contact us at Connect@sharinghousing.com and we’ll help resolve it.
Online Classes
Discovering Shared Housing and Sharing Housing 101: There are no refunds once a course is complete. However, if you take the first two lessons and decide it isn’t a good fit, email us at Connect@sharinghousing.com — we’ll refund your purchase and remove your account.
Other classes: Refund terms for other classes will be noted on the class registration page. If none are specified, please contact us at and we’ll work with you.
If Sharing Housing needs to cancel or reschedule a class, registered participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future session.
