We are delighted that you have taken your first step towards your SHIFT. We want to support you in making your own choices!
The first step is a meeting with me, Annamarie, at your house. In that conversation we will talk about how your home will accomodate a housemate to make it comfortable for everyone. We will also make sure that you can access the two classes on our website. You will have a chance to ask questions and talk through concerns. I will call you to find a good time.
There are two classes you now can access for free. They will teach you the benefits of shared housing and a process for selecting a housemate who is compatible enough with you that you will be comfortable. You don’t have to wait for our meeting to take the two classes. The registration you just completed provides you with access. See the “My Account” button? It’s also always in the menu bar of the website. When you are logged in, all you have to do is click on “My Account” and you will be taken to your account page. If you are not logged in you will be offered a page to log in first.
On your My Account page you will see the two mini-courses 5 Key Benefits of Shared Housing and Sharing Housing 101. We recommend you start with 5 Key Benefits of Shared Housing. You may watch the lessons for 5 Key Benefits in any order. The lessons for Sharing Housing 101 must be completed in order as each builds on the previous lesson. Once you have completed the course you may go back to review any lesson for as many times as you would like. Important: Please be sure to “Mark as Complete” when you complete a lesson.
