Could you live with your sister or brother now that you are grown up? Here’s a family where the adults are brother and sister, each with a spouse and one child. She has a great list of benefits of living together under one roof: financial and emotional. The kids have someone to play with and the adults get to share the maintenance work of life. I love hearing about adult siblings enjoying one another and living together.
The article certainly sparked many reader comments about living under one roof. There are 91 of them ranging from “what a great idea” and “I did this too” to “there’s no way I could do this.” On balance, more are chiming in that they think it’s a great idea. The comments are illuminating. I think more people would try living together under one roof if they had a roadmap for how to go it.
